Advanced propulsion research laboratory

When building its new advanced propulsion research laboratory, Meson were appointed to design, build, and install bespoke control systems to deliver fuel to the engine test beds.

Using its expertise, Meson quickly got to work, advising on suitable locations for the fuel tanks and barrel stores and an efficient system delivery method.

Used to train engineers from Jaguar Land Rover, the facility features five working test beds. To enable the smooth transfer of fuel to each bed, Meson manufactured a bespoke control system that interfaces with the beds to monitor and deliver fuel. This included the installation of cabling, pumps, and a safety control system that integrated seamlessly with the building's safety.

The work carried out at the University of Warwick encompasses all aspects of test bed work that Meson provides.
